Post-college I had the privilege of sitting in a small class under the teaching of Ray Vanderlaan and hearing scripture taught from an eastern perspective and in the historical and cultural context God placed it. Since this week's Advent focus is on shepherds, here is a video shedding light on what it was like to be a shepherd outside Bethlehem as well as deeper understanding into what Jesus Christ meant when he said I am the Good Shepherd.
